We built the thing we wished we had.
A couple of physicians kept losing their evenings and weekends to the same headache: needing one day off, and having to beg the group chat to find someone — anyone — who could cover the shift.
It never felt simple. You don't just need somebody to take your shift. You need someone who's actually free that day, who's allowed to do your job, and whose own week won't fall apart because they helped you out. Trying to keep all of that straight in a noisy group chat is almost impossible — so the trade that would have worked usually never got found.
So they built ShiftHawk: a friendly little app that checks the whole team at once, finds a swap that actually works, and then writes the text for you. You read it, you hit send, and your day off is sorted. That's the whole idea.

Your time off matters
The hours you're not at work are the whole point. With your Life Calendar, you can mark the things that matter — a kid's game, a class, a date night — and ShiftHawk quietly protects those days so a swap never lands on top of them.
Your data stays on your phone
Your schedule and your coworkers' details live right on your device. ShiftHawk does its thinking there, so your information isn't shipped off somewhere. There's no ShiftHawk server holding your stuff — by design.
Swaps should be fair and well-rested
ShiftHawk only suggests trades that keep everyone properly rested and never double-booked — the ACGME rest standards for medicine, and plain common-sense rest for everyone else. Good for you, and fair to the coworker helping you out.
No ads, no data-selling
We don't run ads, and we never sell or share your data with anyone. ShiftHawk is one small, honest price — and that's the whole deal.
